A couple of nights before we let town, our friends Quincy, Brandon & Carlos rolled by to pick us up and off to Dueñas we went. A place known for being the depot for chicken buses, as well as the home to drug cartel jefes (bosses), you'd think it may be a bit of a sketchy place, but really it's not bad. It's a large town with lots of people out and about in the streets and nothing too scary seems to go down. To add to the fun, there are a plethora of street vendors dishing up delicious carnitas (meat on tortilla). Q has been crashing Dueñas for years, so he lead us to his favorite joint where we hung out in the street, eating and people watching the night away.

Of course he also brought along his favorite furry girl, Konga. She's a hoot, with only 2 good legs & a hilarious bark that makes her sound like she smokes 3 packs a day. She made for a great guard dog, keeping the street dogs at bay while we ate.
